At the main entrance, two beautifully crafted pavilions can be found before you step into the plaza. Each pavilion is enclosed with red cloth draped across its rock-like structure. Rock formations and handmade pine tree are placed inside each enclosures to enhance the look.
The concourse level stage is painted in yellow, symbolising prosperity and wealth. On it, beautifully handcrafted Chinese pine trees are placed. Due to its endurance even in the most harshest weather conditions, the pine trees are time-honoured Chinese symbols for strength and longevity. On the tress are big round lanterns glowing auspiciously.

Sungei Wang Plaza will come alive to welcome the Spring Festival. Themed as “Spring Time Rhapsody”. Be enthralled by the majestic decorations adorned by Chinese lanterns and life-like tiger replicas. Chinese New Year decor at Cheras Leisure Mall in Kuala Lumpur.
The bridge linking both sides of the mall is well decorated with pink lantens which is attractive and stands out.
Spring is in the air as preparation get underway to usher in the Chinese New Year. Pink is the predominant colour and theme for this year’s celebration with beautiful spring flowers and pink lanterns presenting a perfect setting for the occasion. Doraemon and friends bring fortune to Mines at Mines Shopping Fair in Seri Kembangan.

Level 3 Centre Court at Mines has been transformed into a cartoon-like cherry blossom garden with an adorable Doraemon house at centre stage as the backdrop for performances. The 12-foot high Doraemon inflatable set beside the stage also serves as a spot to snap phtographs.
The uniqueness of Mines Shopping Fair is the cruise where one can enjoy a Venice type of experience. What a better way to enjoy Chinese New Year by cruising along the mall.
